Shaun has been a professional actor for over 20 years, performing on the West End and both UK and international tours.
Voice Over Artist
Behind the microphone, Shaun has featured on a multitude of different mediums, including radio commercials, documentaries, explainer videos, IVR, radio plays, and computer games.
Voice and Accent Coach
Shaun has worked for many years as a Voice and Accent coach. He offers personal lessons through his company The Working Voice as well as teaching in several well known Drama Schools.
Hi. I'm Shaun
Shaun Morton is an actor, voice actor and voice coach. He trained at ArtsEd London and has spent more than twenty years working professionally across theatre, film and voiceover. For the past ten years, he has also taught voice, accents and performance.
His theatre work includes The 39 Steps in the West End, Dinosaur Zoo in the West End, Hong Kong and on No. 1 Tour, The Dishwashers, Ladies in Lavender, End of the Rainbow, Rough Justice, Romeo & Juliet, Tosca with English National Opera, Beauty and the Beast, A Christmas Carol and Twelfth Night at the Edinburgh Fringe. He also spent two years touring Australia with Brainstorm Productions.
In front of the camera, Shaun has appeared in the feature films Shady Lady and A Dark Reflection, as well as short films, commercials and corporate productions for clients including Microsoft, Nokia and BMW. He has also written and directed several short films and, on occasion, ended up holding the camera as well.
As a voice actor, Shaun has worked across commercials, games, character work, narration and corporate projects for clients including Rocksteady, Jaguar, Fosters and Sainsbury’s. He is also prooud of the fact his is the voice of Mr Tickle, his favourite Mr Men!
Alongside performing, Shaun teaches voice at Urdang and through The Working Voice, specialising in accents, voice and communication. He has previously taught acting, voice and performance for ArtsEd London, Reynolds, West End in Schools, Stagecoach, West End on Demand, London Speech Workshops, Point Blank, Theatre Tribe and Encore.
His favourite job, though, is being a dad. His two daughters made a fairly early start in the profession themselves, appearing together in a John Lewis commercial at the ages of one and four.
