Shaun Morton headshot

Shaun trained at Arts Ed London where he played roles including Valmont in Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Polixenes in The Winter’s Tale and The Poet in La Ronde.

Following graduation, he toured the country with a succession of No. 1 Tours. He understudied the role of Mickey Deans in End of the Rainbow, where he had the opportunity of performing alongside Tracey Bennett in the role for which she was both Tony and Olivier award nominated. He next worked on Ladies in Lavender starring Hayley Mills and Belinda Lang which went on to win five Broadway World awards, before appearing alongside Tom Conti in the tour of Rough Justice. Following this he worked on The 39 Steps in the West End, performing the role of Hannay before once again heading off on tour with David Essex in The Dishwashers. He then joined the cast of Dinosaur Zoo as the lead host, performing around the country, in the West End and the Udderbelly Festival in Hong Kong.

Other theatre credits include: Romeo & Juliet (UK & French tour), Tosca (English National Opera), A Christmas Carol (UK tour), Twelfth Night (Edinburgh Fringe), The Revengers Tragedy (Bridewell Theatre) and two years touring Australia with Brainstorm Productions.

Film includes the features Shady Lady and A Dark Reflection as well a number of short films where he has appeared both in front and behind the camera, taking on the roles of writer and director (and sometimes even DOP!)

Shaun has also appeared in campaigns for Microsoft, BMW, Nokia and Sony Ericsson and works regularly as a voiceover artist on a variety of commericals, corporate videos and computer games. In addition to acting, Shaun also works as a freelance Drama and Voice tutor having taught at schools such as ArtsEd, Point Blank, Encore, Theatre Tribe and Stagecoach. He currently teaches Voice at Urgang Academy and The Actors Door Studio.
